Outfit Of The Day

Thursday, May 26, 2016

Today I visited Micanopy with my photographer friend, Alexandra. I had never been there before and we had such a fun time exploring the quaint little town. We stopped by this little cafe and they were selling postcards of this adorable cat. Apparently, it was a cat that ventures into their shop a lot. I just had to find him.

I found him! He was so sweet and cute. I just wanted to scoop him up and take him home with me!
After we found him, we took a walk in the old cemetery which was hauntingly beautiful.

How to look like Joan from Mad Men

Sunday, April 21, 2013

Since Mad Men comes on Sunday nights @ 10 pm. , I thought I would show you how to look like Joan! By the way, if you don't watch Mad Men, you are really missing out.

Joan always has a pretty bold lip color but her lips always look moisturized and plump. This is a lip balm so it has a tint of color but wont dry your lips out. Go for a coral or rose color.

                                                                               Fresh

For the cheeks, use this poppy pink cheek stain! It gives a really natural but beautiful flush to your cheeks.

                                                                            Benefit

Just apply a thin line of black liquid liner to the top of your lashes and wing it out slightly.

                                                                           Urbandecay

For your skin, use Maybelline BB cream. It will give you light coverage so you will still have that fresh look.

This mascara is personally my favorite. It actually gives you a false eyelash look without the false lashes!

Choose a dress that makes a bold statement and accentuates your curves!

                                                                          Modcloth

A gold dangly necklace of some kind.

And big circle-stud earrings.

                                                                        Polyvore

Use a coral nail polish to match your coral lips!

                                                                             Essie

For the hair, part the bangs on the side and use a brush to tease the crown. Then, create a french twist and secure it in place with bobby pins. If you don't know how to do a french twist then click the link below!

                                                                            HERE!

And then all that's left to do is add a little attitude and a little sass!

Lollicup

Saturday, April 20, 2013

Okay, I am going to keep this short and sweet today. Lollicup.Is.Amazing. So recently I found out that I am lactose intolerant. (Sucks, I know..But at least I can still eat cheese.) And like, we make boba teas all the time at work and it makes me sad because I know they are delicious and I can't even have them! Well today I went into Lollicup thinking I would have to settle for green tea. BUT THEN...the girl told me that they use non-dairy creamer in their milk teas!!! The heavens opened up and I ordered a taro boba tea! It was very delicious. Next time I want to try the lavender one. Nothing else much happened today other than eating at an Indian buffet. And it was dreary and rainy all day! But anyways, Im out!

Friday Favorites

Friday, April 19, 2013

I am just drooling over this dress from ModCloth! It's so retro and I love the print! The little houses look like they're from Edward Scissorhands.

I want this stuff so bad. It's like a body balm with a golden shimmer and apparently it smells like Spring (I don't really know what Spring smells like..maybe rain, pollen, and flowers?) and makes your skin look luminous. Perfect for the beach!

Call me a little kid if you must, but I am forever a sucker for anything Hello Kitty! Especially this because it is like Bento Hello Kitty. By the way, I recently started working at Bento Cafe so that's exciting! It has been so long since I have blogged because I didn't have a computer for a while. But now I am back in business!

This is so amazing! So Mad Men and I cannot wait to have my own apartment or house so I can deck it all out Don Draper style

These boots are RILL cool.

I am in love with this compass watch.

I love all of these! So feminine and pretty. I think my favorite is the Spring one.

I've been here before and would die to go again! Simply breathtaking.

I hope everyone has a great Friday!

Glittery Ornaments

Sunday, December 2, 2012

Even though it's hot, I am trying to get into the Christmas spirit since it's December. It feels like time just flies by faster all the time and I can't even keep up! I wanted to make something pretty for my tree so I decided on some glittery ornaments. Now, glitter gets EVERYWHERE so that's why the glitter went inside the ornaments.

First of all, you're going to need to spread newspaper over your entire workspace because the glitter manages to get everywhere of course. Then you will need glitter, clear ornaments (I got mine from Michael's) and Pledge floor finish. I also had glitter glue in case I wanted to decorate the outside but I ended up just loving them the way they looked without it.

See how it gets everywhere? haha! So all you have to do is pour about a tablespoon of the floor finish into the ornament. While holding the hole closed, shake the ornament like crazy so it coats the entire inside. Then dump out the excess floor finish. Next, pour a generous amount of glitter inside and while holding the hole closed, shake it. Make sure there is a lot of glitter inside because you want it to be completely covered.

I ended up having to put more glitter in this one because there was a little patch that didn't really have much glitter on it.

This one looks like snow!

They look so pretty on the tree!

Can you tell that this one is my favorite?! It looks like Barbie!

This is how the whole tree looks! It's the most beautiful at night. I just love this tree because it's so girly and pretty!

And of course I had to snap a quick picture of my little prince by the tree! It's going to be my first Christmas with him. (More pictures to come of course!) I really thought he would climb the tree and destroy it, but he has been wonderful so far! He has only batted the ornament that is closest to the bottom and that's it. By the way, I have been under the weather lately with the flu or something and that's why I haven't been blogging. I haven't really felt like doing much of anything. But I am better now, so expect me to be blogging more frequently!
